What is a subdomain and how to create one?
You can create a subdomain to your already existing domain. It will work as a separate website, but you will not have to register a new domain. Replace the WWW with the desired one (for example forum.domain.com (where domain.com is the name of your domain), etc.).
To create a new subdomain, take the following steps.
- Log in to cPanel using the link http://domain.com:2083 (where domain.com is your domain name).
- After logging in, go to the section Domains and click Subdomains.
- Choose domain, to which set up a subdomain.
- Write your choosen subdomain name in a field Subdomain.
- Click in a field Document Root and it will autofill.
- Click Create to create a subdomain.
Lai izdzēstu apakšdomēnu, rīkojieties šādi.
- Pieslēdzieties cPanel un noklikšķiniet uz Subdomains.
- Apakšsadaļā Modify a Subdomain pretī izveidotajam apakšdomēnam noklikšķiniet uz Remove.
