How to add A and MX records to the domain?
If you choose not to transfer your domain to Hostnet and if you dont want to use Cloud Hosting DNS servers, you must do the following:
To create the A record:
- In the domain register, or in any other domain managing service, you should indicate A record to the IP address which is indicated in the letter that you received when created the account (server IP address).
To create the MX record:
- Jāizveido A ieraksts/subdomēns (Piemēram, mail.domens.lv) un tas jānorāda uz Servera IP adresi, kura norādīta vēstulē, kuru saņēmāt pie konta izveides (Servera IP adrese).
- Jāizveido MX ieraksts, to nosaucot tā pat kā izveidotais A ieraksts/subdomēns (Piemēram, mail.domens.lv).
