Configure backup agent

Agent refers as server which you want to backup. For backup to work, you need to install and configure backup agent on your server.

First of all check if your system support CDP backup:

For LINUX

For WINDOWS

If your system support backup, install backup agent:

After agent are installed we need to configure it.

Further you will find variable BACKUP_SERVER_IP which refers for backup server IP, which can be found in your payments.hostnet.lv account. It differs by account.

1. For LINUX:
   • Run command: serverbackup-setup --get-key https://BACKUP_SERVER_IP
2. For WINDOWS:
   • Open "Backup Agent Configuration Utility" and in "Authorized Server Backup Managers" section add new server key. Protocol should be https:// and in "Server Backup Manager" field add BACKUP_SERVER_IP.

Test Agent connection is possible when log in to backup's control panel:

Ejiet uz "Servers" un palaidiet " Test Agent Connection ".

Ja savienojums būs neveiksmīgs, pārbaudiet Aģenta un ugunsmūra iestatījumus. Backup serverim vajadzētu būt iespējai izveidot savienojumu ar jūsu servera portu, kuru norādiet, kad pasūtiet pakalpojumu.
