How to add A and MX records to the domain?
If you choose not to transfer your domain to Hostnet and if you dont want to use Cloud Hosting DNS servers, you must do the following:
To create the A record:
- In the domain register, or in any other domain managing service, you should indicate A record to the IP address which is indicated in the letter that you received when created the account (server IP address).
To create the MX record:
- You have to create a record/subdomain (for example, mail.domain.com) and it should be indicated to the Server IP address which is indicated in the letter that you received when created the account (server IP address).
- You have to create an MX record, giving it the same title the created A record/ subdomain has (for example, mail.domain.com).
